Our chapter is very blessed to have a very active Mother's club, our SigMA club.  These remarkable ladies meet twice a year, in the Fall during Homecoming and in the Spring during Derby Days, to discuss how they can further expand the Sigma Chi experience.  These ladies frequently assist the chapter, giving their time, money, and resources.  We do not know what we would do without these ladies.  Common SigMA activities include preparing food and decorating chapter facilities during Recruitment, Homecoming, and Derby Days, as well as ensuring that the chapter grounds exhibit a grand display of Holiday cheer during Christmas.  These ladies also usually raise money every year which they use to give something significant to the chapter with their latest large gift being the installation of lights on our Basketball court.

Nearly every mother of our members is a member of the Gamma Upsilon SigMA Club.  These ladies truly enjoy the experience as they can become close friends and share memories with the mothers of their son's friends.  SigMAs often find themselves  sentimential when there son's undergraduate Sigma Chi experience comes to a close, wishing they could begin the process all over again.

If your son is a Sigma Chi at Mississippi State and you are not currently a member of our SigMA club, we encourage you to join today!  If you are currently a SigMA, we greatly appreciate all that you do for us, and, once again, we do not know what we would do without you!
